The department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology provides comprehensive care to adult patients suffering from arthritis, rheumatic and auto-immune diseases.

Our Team

  • Different types of arthritis including - causing joint pain, joint swelling or joint stiffness; back pain or back stiffness.
    • Rheumatoid arthritis
    • Seronegative spondyloarthritis like Ankylosing spondylitis, Psoriatic arthritis, IBD associated arthritis, Reactive arthritis
    • Gout
    • Calcium pyrophosphate deposition arthritis (CPPD)
    • Osteoarthritis
  • Tendonitis - pain around the joints like heel, around the elbow
  • Inflammatory Myositis - weakness of arms and legs causing difficulty in getting up from squatting posture or sitting posture; difficulty in lifting arms above the shoulders.
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus - Multisystem affecting skin (rash, mouth ulcers), joints, kidneys, blood system (low hemoglobin, low platelets, low white cells), kidneys, nerves.
  • Scleroderma or Systemic sclerosis - Skin tightening or thickening, lung and heart problems (shortness or breath, dry cough), Raynaud’s phenomenon (color change of finger tips to blue or white on cold exposure).
