Pediatrics

Department of Pediatrics at HIMS is a well-established, fully equipped tertiary care center delivering comprehensive health care services – preventive, promotive and treatment of all types of diseases and disorders in children from birth till 18 years of age. The department serves as a “referral center” as it has carved a niche for itself by being compassionate, paying attention to details, updating and putting into practice the latest developments in its field.

The department is engaged in teaching and training of students of under-graduate, post-graduate programs as well as students of Para-medical courses in Pediatrics. The department regularly arranges CMEs, Workshops and Life-saving skill training for practicing Pediatricians and other health care providers .Every faculty member in department has vast and rich experience in their respective subject of interest and they carry out research work on topics of public health significance.

Department of Pediatrics works in close collaboration with Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatric Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic surgery etc to deliver Complete basket of health care services to children attending hospital
