Himalayan Hospital hosts Specialist Health Checkup Camp attended by over 250 villagers

The RHTC GOHRIMAFI, under the aegis of Himalayan Hospital, hosted a Specialist Health Checkup Camp, attended by over 250 villagers from surrounding areas. The camp provided crucial medical services, with a team of dedicated doctors specializing in ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, General Medicine, Gynecology, and Community Medicine. A total of 190 patients received consultations, reflecting the pressing healthcare needs of the community. Medicine consultations were the most sought-after, with 86 patients attended to, followed by Pediatrics (37), Ophthalmology (18), Pediatric Surgery (11), Gynecology (26), and ENT (12). Notable specialists included Dr. Yasir Ahmad Lone, an Associate Professor in Pediatric Surgery, Dr. Poorva, a Senior Resident in Pediatrics, and Dr. Siddharth Garg, renowned for General Medicine. The camp also benefitted from the expertise of Dr. Utkarsh in ENT, Dr. Rutu in Ophthalmology, and Dr. Arshiya in General Surgery. Supporting the specialist team were medical officers Dr. Deepa and Dr. Rajendra Rana, ensuring comprehensive healthcare delivery. The event underscored the importance of accessible medical services in rural areas, addressing diverse health concerns and promoting community well-being.

The coordinator for the entire program was Dr Abhay Srivastava, AP, Dept of Community Medicine, without whose efforts the above health relief camp would not have been possible.
